HTC Flyer GSM feature

I'm an Android addict. This is my 4th android device. But unfortunately phone feature is disabled by default. Surprise 🙂 And I turned on phone future on my Flyer Tablet. Is it possible to enable HTC Flyer phone call function? Answer is Yes. If you can follow the article you can enable HTC Flyer phone future. If you're using HTC Flyer and want to use phone future on your device you can follow the procedures. If you cannot find necessary files on internet you can download on below addresses.   • If HTC sync installed on your PC please uninstall it.
  • Download HTC windows driver and install. If this version doesn't work on your operating system try this version.
  • Disable fast boot option (settings – power – fast boot)
  • Enable Debug Mode (settings – applications – development – usb debugging)
  • Turn off your flyer and remove battery (if you cannot remove just power off), then press volume down and power button simultaneously. You will enter bootloader menu, (you have to press buttons at least 15-20 sec.) bootloader menu looks like as follows.

Be careful at line 2, this is a hboot version. If your hboot version is equal to 1.10.0000 or 1.11.0003 then you can continue. Otherwise you can't enable phone future. Please remove battery and attach again. If you cannot remove battery just press volume down and power button. After that power off device and turn on again.
  • Connect Flyer to your computer.
  • go to http://revolutionary.io/ web site and download windows driver. If you prefer you can download here same files. Just unzip files. These files will create a special serial number. Do not close that web site.
  • Temporarily pause your antivirus software.
  • Go to folder you just unzipped. And run revolutionary.exe file. On a black screen you will see a serial number start with HTCXXXXXX. If you cannot connect your flyer with your computer select "charge only" option and try again. You have enter that serial to blue box in http://revolutionary.io/ site.
  • Select your device model under your device section and also select your hboot version 1.10.0000 or 1.11.0003 and press generate key button. Web site will generate a unique serial number. Enter that serial to the application. Be careful to upper and lower case. and press enter. Follow steps on screen.
  • Now revolutionary will start to S-OFF process. Meanwhile your device will reboot itself couple times. At the end you have to see "SUCCESS - Life gave us lemons, we didn't make lemonade!" on black screen. If you can see this message, on your device process has been done successfully.
  • While this process continue system will ask you to install ClockworkMOD Recovery. Type "Y" and press enter to install it (necessary).
  • Your device may reboot itself during process. Do not remove USB cable. This process can take 5-10 min.
  • At the end, your device will start automatically. If system start with bootloader option just power off your device and turn it on again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clockwork Recovery Installation (If not installed during S-OFF process) If Clockwork Recovery not installed during S-OFF process you have to follow below steps;
  • Download Clockwork Recovery image file and copy to your SD card root.
  • Turn off your device and press volume down and power button at the same time. Enter bootloader menu.
  • When you see "Do you want to start the update" on your screen press volume up button and install image.
  • After installation has been done, power on your device.
  • pls delete image file from your SD card.
  • Now Clockworkmod has been installed on your device.

  • Download su-2.3.6.1 signed file and copy to your SD card root folder.
  • Turn off your device and press volume down and power button and enter bootloader menu, press volume down button and locate on recovery and press power button to select. You will see below screen.
Recovery v4.0.0.5_xda.cn by qiulong- reboot system now - apply update from sdcard - wipe data/factory reset - wipe cache partition - install zip from sdcard - backup and restore - mounts and storage - advanced - power off - +++++Go Back+++++
  • On Recovery menu select "install zip from sdcard".
  • Then select "choose zip from sdcard" and find the file you just copy on your SD card.
  • Go back to Recovery main menu and select "reboot system now" option.
  • If you see SuperUser on your device menu means operation has been done successfully.
Enable Phone Mode Firstly you have to install root explorer. you can download from here Root explorer 2.16.apk Copy to your device and install.
  • run root explorer application and find / System / build.prop file
  • open with text editor
Default values are as follows. ro.ril.reject.cs.ss.enabled=1 ro.ril.reject.mo.ussd.enabled=1 ro.phone.function=0 and ro.bt.profiles = 4270339 service.brcm.bt.ag_supported = 0 Just change values with this ro.ril.reject.cs.ss.enabled=0 ro.ril.reject.mo.ussd.enabled=0 ro.phone.function=1 and ro.bt.profiles = 4270403 service.brcm.bt.ag_supported = 1 and save file. After reboot your device you will see phone feature. PS : If you're not sure what you're doing. Please do not try any of these steps. You may damage your device software.
